Yellowstone Exhibition February 2014
Yellowstone Exhibition
The Café in Topsham - February 2014
I had the pleasure to visit Yellowstone NP in May 2013 with friends who are fellow photographers.
This is a magical landscape with variety beyond belief with wild animals in their natural habitat roaming the terrain freely.
The caldera area releases tremendous heat to drive the force which creates geysers, hot springs and many other geothermal features, exuding energy and colour that endures in one's memory.
Evening light as clouds gathered above and reflected in Snake River, Grand Teton NP where the beauty and serenity of this scene is breath-taking.
Water and steam were features seen throughout the park culminating in the powerful Canyon Falls, with thousands of gallons of spring water as the snow in the mountains melted, cascading from a great height to the falls and into the Yellowstone River.
This phenomenal, powerful landscape of Yellowstone never fails to inspire a photographer.
I hope you enjoy viewing these images here on the website and at the exhibition.
